Super Star Junior-3 Croons Its Way To A Milestone

Amrita TV’s Superstar Junior-3  the first to plunge into  the  unchartered waters of children’s reality show is moving on course to its 50th episode on June 11th .

The programme which goes on air every weekday at 8.00pm, discovers moulds and refines fledging musical talents into fully groomed star singers capable of making their mark in the musical world in future.Superstar Junior-3 which set off with 15 competitors onboard belting out their best, has been downsized to 9 after 2 eliminations  on the way.Madhu Balakrishnan, Anuradha Sriram and Bijibal  the 3 permanent judges on the panel function more as mentors than appraisers, tactfully pointing out their blunders and faux pas, ironing out their mistakes and shepherding the blossoming youngsters the right way.Keeping them hilarious company are Vinod the ventriloquist and his vivacious puppet Kitty, who hop up alongside the anchor  to welcome the tense competitors on stage, narrate  little anecdotes, occasionally dropping words of advice.

Superstar Junior-3 makes merry on the golden Jubilee day with solo performances from Bijibal, Madhu Balakrishnan and Bhavana Radhakrishnan ; dance numbers from Nasneen the anchor ; chain medley that involves all the 9 contestants etc.The first ever reality show for children in Kerala, Superstar Junior-3, the 3rd in the series rubs down the rough edges, helps raw talent to realize their potential and fulfill their promises .

……… And Then Two More Bowed Themselves Out

At the commencement of the fourth level of the vocal encounter, the number of competitors gets abbreviated  to 7, as two more contestants drop out of the reckoning during the 3rd  farewell day.

Anup Vishnu and Asif Rawther stepped down from the stage of Super Star-3, the numero uno children’s reality show that still leads the field in the genre.

Earlier  during its 12 week run, Akshay Menon, Alka PV and Ayesha Sherin had departed at the end of the 1st level, with Amalshitha Raj, Kanchana and Sreehari
handing  in their microphones at the end of  the 2nd.

The 4th  level , a cocktail of  melody, classical and rhythm rounds that will make or break the participants  consists of AR Rehman hits, M.S. Viswanathan songs, P.Bhaskaran Songs, Semi- classical round, R.D Burman  songs and Latest Tamil hits.

The 7 who are getting ready to renew their bid for the title,  will have to deliver their best with not a discordant note , if they hope to accomplish what they set out to do.
